This error is replicable in the latest version of Outlook.

In previous version, nothing happened.
In latest version it causes access violation.

Hello Sally,

Is it possible that the crash is caused by ESET? Have a look at https://www.add-in-express.com/forum/read.php?SHOWALL_1=1&FID=1&TID=16450#nav_start.

If this doesn't apply, does turning off all other COM add-ins change the situation?

This is with clean-boot Outlook without any Add-ins.

There are no add-ins

This is a reproducible bug with Outlook 2212 build 16.0.15928.20196 latest Outlook version.

This is reproducible with me, my customers, and customer's customer (i.e., customer of Add-in-Express, I am doing work-for-hire for him).

In a previous version, below 16.0.15928.20196 outlook, it works 100% and no errors.

It's only on Outlook 16.0.15928.20196 that Delphi Add-in-Express COM DLLs crashes and no idea...

In Delphi debugging Outlook, there is no error messages that can be inferred or guessed that leads to the above errors.

It causes the Outlook DLL to crash for no reason.

Hello Sally,

We've tested your add-in on a slightly different Outlook build (a new update came today): Version 2212 (Build 15928.20198 Click-to-Run) Current Channel. No crash. Could you please check if updating Outlook fixes the issue?

Yes, it works!
My version is Microsoft??? Outlook??? for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2202 Build 16.0.14931.20648) 32-bit, and no errors.

Thank you.

On Outlook 16.0.15928.20196 to upgrade to newer version.
