My apologies for a very off topic question, but having developed an add-in for outlook with Add-in Express I have users asking for some of that functionality to be replicated in Gmail and Outlook Web Access.

Does anyone here have any insights, thoughts or suggestions on the best way to proceed with this?

Hello Allen,

Outlook Web Access and GMail are available through a web browser. Accordingly you can use modern-style Javascript-based Office add-ins to replicate that functionality. But you must be prepared that the Outlook object model these add-ins use is significantly less than that of the desktop Outlook.
