Printing within Word, very simple addin query

I am just embarking on a new project. I've used Outlook Security Manager in a previous project with fabulous results.

I need functionality within Word to simply print the current document to a fixed, named printer. I can do it simply enough with a Word macro but I'll want to roll this out to several hundred Citrix users so a COM addin seems the more sensible way to go about it.

So, will Addin Express allow me to print the current document to a named printer and will I have the full Delphi functionality available from within the addin (socket comms, API access etc)?

Hi Angus,

I think that the answer is yes for both you questions. An Add-in Express based COM Add-in for MS Word has access to the same Object Model as a Word macro, plus almost all Delphi functionality (as far as I remember there may be some problems with non-modal Delphi forms).
