Hi all,

My company recently acquired a OSM development license, allowing us to install up to 3 machines.

Now we can develop our Outlook Plug-in (using VB6) for our customer.

Our questions are:

1) Can our customer be able to deploy (or install) the plug-in, developed by us, to their own customers?

Notice: For this matter it will be created a setup package, that includes the compiled version of our plug-in, therefore including also the OCX and DLL from your software.

2) Another question, since the customer bought the sources of our project, may the customer compile and re-distribute
the setup package of our application freely? Or must they also buy a development license?

Yes, they can.

The plug-in will not compile without OSM installed and this, in its turn, will require a licence key. At this point you and your customer have two options: a)your customer buy the licence and b) you use your right granted by EULA to transfer your licence to your customer. If you choose the second way, it will be very nice if you inform us (sales at add-in-express com) about such a transfer. In the opposite case, you customer may have problems when installing and ACTIVATING the product.
