Hello,

one of our customers uses the software 7Zip (http://www.7-zip.de/ or http://www.7-zip.org/).
The action "archive and send" adds the zipped file directly to a new e-mail. After installing the software the action is available in the windows context menu of files.

The problem is that the Inspector-Events (OnOLNewInspector, OnOLInspectorActivate, ...) are not executed in Outlook add-in.

Hello Nedeljka,

Such events never occur for an inspector created using the Send To | Mail Recipient command. In this case, the inspector is opened modally. If Outlook wasn't started, it starts but your add-in doesn't load until the inspector is closed; in this moment your add-in loads and then it gets unloaded immediately. If Outlook is started, your add-in just doesn't receive any events.

The above also applies to sending a document from an Office 2007-2016 (but see below!) application such as Excel, Word, etc. The last time I tested this scenario, using the Share | Email | Send as Attachment option created a modal inspector as described above. It looks like recently, they changed this behavior in Office 2016; I see my inspector non-modal after I choose File | Share | Attach a copy instead | Excel workbook. I expect the events to work in this case; this requires testing.
