I developed a procedure into timer event
This procedure search an e-mail in all folders and sub-folders

Run correctly, but in some computer, it is extremely slow
on windows appears the hold icon
and I prepare the coffee to pass the time

My problem is that coffee makes me sick
I thought that the only solution is to create a thread able to work with outlook in the backgroud

Your plugin is able?

Hello Giancarlo,

All object models in Office are not thread-safe. Consider splitting the task so that you can execute a part of the task at a time. Say, if you scan Outlook items, you could scan them in chunks of 5-100 items in a chunk.
