I have added the OCX to my VB6 application. Everything installed and registered just fine. When using the email function of my application it works just fine when the Windows user has administrator rights. But when logging in as a different user the application freezes when trying to load the form containing the OCX control. I have installed the DLL and OCX in the appropriate folder and have given all users rights to this folder. Does anyone have a solution for this?

Hi Rick,

Make sure the folder with dll and ocx has the Read&Execute permissions for the user. Make sure the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT registry branch has the Read permissions for the user.
