I upgraded the components from the last version to the current 2016-supporting components. I did not change anything of the code or properties at all, but after installing the add-in into Outlook, the window wherein I edit (or create) appointments do not have any ribbon contents anymore except of the "FILE" menu. I added a screenshot. What maybe wrong and what can be done?

Hi Stefan,

Please check the StartFromScratch property of your add-in module (TAddInModule), what value do you have in this property?

Hi Dmitry,

there's msrOutlookAppointent=True in that Property. Within "StartFromScratch2010" there's all set to False.

Hello Stefan,

Make sure all other COM add-ins are turned off.

Hello Andrei,
it's a fresh installation of Outlook 2016 with only those Add-Ins that come from Microsoft per default (Exchange-AddIn, Social Connector etc.). But even disabling them, except of the Exchange-AdIn) makes no difference. The Ribbon stays empty. And disabling the Exchange AddIn is no option, because Outlook must connect an Exchange server.

I should mention that this behaviour first occured with the current version of Add-In-Express. The previous version in combination with Outlook 2013 worked without any problem.

Stefan,

Could you please send me a project reproducing the issue to the support email address? Please find it in {Add-in Express installation folder}\readme.txt. And make sure your email contains a link to this topic.

I would like to, but your website tells me, that the support address can be found in the registration email... but our registration is about 10 years old and those things are stored somewhere by my boss. Perhaps you can send me a mail to XXXX@sked.de and tell me that support address?

Hello Stefan,

The issue is caused by setting msrOutlookAppointent=True in the StartFromScratch property.

Thanks, that was the solution. It's a bit strange, but I tried this before an it didn't work, but this could also be an issue of Rad Studio. After completely cleaning and rebuilding it's okay now! Thanks again.
