Hi Andrei,

sorry to warm this up so lately but I updated the Devexpress components now to 14.2.2 and get the same results. Skins are not showing.
Is there perhaps something I need to take care of like loading a certain skin at "oncreate" of the form or so?

What I did is just putting a groupbox on the form, adding a skin controller and chose a skin for it.
On design time it looks perfect but the compiled dll does not.

Could you perhaps recheck that issue?

Thank you and best regards...

Hello Mirko,

We've created a test project using XE6 and Devexpress 15.1.2, added TcxGroupBox and TcxLookAndFeelController components to the form. After testing the add-in in Outlook and Excel 2013, we couldn't find any differences between designtime and runtime. The form displayed the component in the style that corresponds to the SkinName property.

Perhaps it's because we used the latest version of DevExpress components.

Hi Andrei,

Thanks for testing this. I use office 2010 and tested in Outlook. I try to test this in Excel as well tomorrow.

Best regards...

Hi Andrei,

I tried the Excel TaskPane sample with a Groupbox and a cxlookandfeelcontroller.
Same result. It is just handled as if there was no skin available.

I use Excel 2010 because I have no access to 2013. I used 14.2 and even 15.1 demo is not working.

Instead of using a look and feel controller I used a skincontroller. Also the same result.

I also used XE6.

So I run a bit out of options to figure out what I am doing wrong...

Best regards and a nice weekend...

Mirko,

We will re-check this on Office 2010. I expect we will have a result tomorrow.

I get the same problem with no skins. Delphi XE2 + DevEx 12.2.2 and Delphi XE7 + DevEx 15.1.2.
Also on my virtual PC W7/32bit + Office 2013 no skins.

Hallo Andrei, hello Michal,

I really cannot figure out what is going on. I tried to register your Addin1.dll in my Outlook using regsvr32 but afterwards Outlook does not start any longer. I tried this on two different PCs.

I could perhaps try to switch off my anti virus software.

I must be doing some terribly wrong or oversee something because you and your team gets it up and running.

By the way... I was checking an older post concerning this topic and the skins were already working on your side with version 14.2.5 .

Kind regards and have a nice evening...
