Simple Install Problem?

I know this has to be something simple but for the life of me I can't see what!
I'm trying to do the very basic task of getting an x86 add-in installed into Word (2010). This is on a Windows 7 x64 but Word is x86. I'm using Delphi XE6 and running as an admin user.
I've tried the ADX samples as well as my own app but nothing works. I register the Active X server which returns ok. But the app doesn't load and won't even load directly in Word if I try to do it manually?
Any ideas?

Mark,

I'd check if the same occurs for a new add-in with no code.

Is the add-in per-user or per-machine? Is UAC on? Do you register it with elevated permissions or not?

Thanks Andrei. I think something's up with my PC. I went back to an older version via my backup and it works. I'll stick with the old version and bring it up to date with my work.
