I am using the SaveCopyAs method to save a temporary copy of the active workbook. The problem I am having is that if the user has just typed some text into a cell but hasnt committed the changes (eg hit return or changed focus to a different cell), then the method fails. I am assuming this is because Excel has locked the workbook whilst the changes are being made. How do i commit the changes so that SaveCopyAs will work.

I have tried various options such as selecting a different cell or Calculate but I mustn't being doing this correctly because they are not working.

Regards
Phil
