Hello.
I have two versions of RAD Studio - XE & XE2.
I have installed adxvcl-v702-b1212-std.
While installation I haven't seen any error.
Now I can work with Add-in Express in XE Studio.
But there is no Add-in Express components installed on XE2.
In "Install Packages..." window packages are visible but not checked.
After checking package error occurs "%1 is not a valid Win32 application." (see image).
Are there problems with my RAD Studio or Add-in Express installation?
Can you help me to fix this error? |

Mykhaylo,
Most probably, the issue is caused by using an incorrect license key. I suggest that you recheck that you use a correct key and it isn't mispelled. If you use the manual activation option, use the automatic activation instead.
Below is the complete list of suggestions related to installation problems:
===
Make sure you are an administrator on the PC.
On Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 2008 Server, set UAC to its default level.
In Control Panel | System | Advanced | Performance | Settings | Data Execution Prevention, set the "... for essential Windows programs and services only" flag.
Remove the following registry key, if it exists:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Add-in Express\{product identifier} {version} {package}
Finally, use the Automatic activation option in the installer windows.
===
If the problem persists, I suggest that we discuss this by e-mail. Please find the support email address in readme.txt. I'll need a set of screenshots or a video describing each stage of installing the product. Will it be possible?
