Hi There,

In Microsoft Outlook, Send/ Receive tab, we can choose to only download headers.

When download headers is pressed, the Outlook Reading Pane will become yellow and there is a message header up there saying that 'This is a message header. The full item has not been downloaded.'

May I know is it possible to achieve programmatically ?

There is not much details I can find.

Best Regards,

The Outlook object model doesn't provide a way to achieve this.

Hi Andrei,

Sorry for the confusion.

Correct title but posted wrong question.

The question was supposed to be :

In Microsoft Outlook, when we select an email, on our right side, the Reading Pane will preview the e-mail content.

Here's my question, is it possible to add buttons to the Reading Pane programmatically ?

Best Regards,

No. The Outlook object model doesn't provide a way to achieve this. Consider showing an Add-in Express pane in one of the Reading Pane regions; see https://www.add-in-express.com/add-in-net/outlook-regions.php.
