Hi Abdul,

I have a bunch of questions for you:
1. What version and build number of Add-in Express do you use?
2. May I see the adxregistrator.log and adxloader.log files? Typically you can find them in the <My Documents>\Add-in Express folder.
3. Are you able to reproduce the issue with a newly created add-in project?

Hi Eugene,

1. Its 2008, yeah i know i guess you guys don't support it any more right?
we also have the latest but when we tested got some unusual errors, so thats why moved back to
2008, since with 2008 user at least can work with the modules to generate data where as in 2010
the Exports does not totally work, so unless we can give then solution for the 2010 Addin Express issue quickly we cannot let them use it.

i. Do you think you can support for 2008 and solve the issue?
ii. If not then i will install the latest addin express and get you the error log and details so we can fix the issue the face.

2. The client is in remote location and it is bit hassle to get the access approved but when i go last time i checked the "adxloader.log" but i could not see any error, except that it had record of successfully installation

3. The newly created add in is fine here and else where but gives new errors, any way i will try to install it in clients machine and get the error details to you and try to fix the issues in new addin express version.

Hi Abdul,

Add-in Express 2008 is not supported any longer. Of course, I would recommend installing the latest build of Add-in Express 2010.

May I see the adxregistrator.log and adxloader.log from the newly created add-in project with Add-in Express 2010?

Had the same problem a few weeks ago. It disappeared after I had removed two XLL modules that were intended for testing. It seems, one of them was corrupt or the two modules interfered with each other.

Hi Lars,

Are you able to reproduce the issue with a newly created add-in project? If so, could you please send a sample add-in project to the support e-mail address (see the readme.txt file)?
