AddIn supports Outlook and Word (but differently). When Word is defined as editor for mail msgs, get 2 commandBars - only want the Outlook one. How to disable the word addin if embedded in Outlook?

Sergey,

No workee.

My situation is slightly more complex:

I have:

1. one Generic commandBar that is used FOR ALL office type documents, including email. Based on host type, they do different things (like manipulate a document or save an email).
2. i have another OutlookInspectorcommandbar just for outlook inspectors.

The problem is that when Word is the default editor for Outlook, both 1 and 2 are instantiated - when I only want the inspector bar.

I've tried making the GenericcommandBar invisible on InspectorActivate or InspectorNew events - this works until the user replies or forwards - at which point, though the events are fired, the genericCommandBar is still visible.

Need a solution quite urgently.

Hi Chris.

Could you please describe step by step the situation in which these examples don't work? I will reproduce the situation and will try to fix it ASAP.
