Hi

I'm experiencing a strange issue with Outlook XP/2002 (10.6515.6830) SP3.
When an Add-in Express add-in is installed the "Save and Close" buttons on contacts and distribution lists cease to work.

How to reproduce:

Open a new mail.
Click "To".
Right-click on a contact or a distribution list and sel ect "Properties"
Click "Save and Close".

The window is not closed, but all tabs but the last are removed and it's not possible to use to buttons on the remaining tab.
This does not happen if the Address Book is opened directly fr om the Tools menu.

I'm using loader version 6.0.3043, but I believe that the issue is also present in earlier versions.

To verify that it wasn't my own code who was responsible I created a new (empty) Add-In, but the issue remained. If I uninstall the Add-In the "Save and Close" buttons work again.

Thank you very much. I've reproduced this issue. Now it is filed under #1566. When a new Add-in Express build is published, please look for this case in whatsnew.txt.

Hi Søren,

We've found that the problem can be solved by installing all latest updates for Office 2002. That's why we closed case #1566.
