Hi,
We have end user reported some issues with Outlook 2003(SP3) with Word editor and our adx add-in:
?Â?Ð?ìCompose page opens with focus on message body and toolbar customizations are no saved after close?Â?Ð?í

It looks like issues with normal.dot template.
Without the add-in there are no issues. We were not able to reproduce it in test environment.
Do you have an idea what can cause issues with normal.dot template?

Hi Vlad,

I suppose normal.dot is readonly on that PC. Or, they have the Tools | Options | Save | Prompt to save Normal template flag set in Word and choose No in the corresponding dialog.

It was possible to do the toolbars custamization from Word (so it's not read only)
On the other hand it was possible to modify the toolbars before installing the add-in and w/o it.

For the other option - I was looking at the end user issues with VLC session and it was not prompting (Outlook and Word)

Do you think that the focus change is related with this "template" issues?
It is very strange issue. :(

I don't know.

Do you use dim wdApp as New Word.Application in your code?

Hi,
No we do not use im wdApp as New Word.Application in the code.
Thanks, I will try to find something, but for now we can leave it like this.
If there are more details about the issue I will add more info here.
