Seem to be having problems with transparency for the icons in a commandbar in Outlook.

I have read the article stating that you should set the transparency before adding images but it still seems to treat the images as solid.

I have used png and gif image formats for my icons. Any ideas?

I also should point out that the icons display correctly in the design module. Just not in Outlook.

Hello Glen,

I would recommend you using the BMP file format for a command bar item. The PNG file format is used in the Ribbon UI.
