Hi.

Is there any way to define the description of my xll add-in?

I see a "Description" property for COM add-ins that it's used by Excel in the Excel Options dialog.

I don't find any similar property for XLL add-ins, so they get listed in Excel with no description.

There's absolutely no way to provide the description; the XLL API doesn't allow us to do so..

Hi. OK.

One last question...

On the same dialog my xll add-ins present names like this: "Adxloader.Primavera.Office.Accounting.Functions" (the name of the physical dll).

The definition in the XLLModule is "PRIMAVERA Accounting Excel Functions".

What is wrong here?

Hi Hugo,

Make sure that you use the latest version of adxloader.dll in your project; the latest version is located in {Add-in Express install folder}\Redistributables\adxloader.dll.

I am using that version. It's version 5.1.2022.0.

Hi Hugo.

The current version of Add-in Express doesn't support project names with more than one '.'.
Please use more simple names for the add-in assembly file.
