Utilize Add-in Express in existing solution
How does one "convert" a standard VSTO 2008 project to an Add-in E.

Hi all

We recently purchased Add-in Express for VSTO. At this time we're scratching our heads trying to figure out how to utilize out new "powers". Without having to re-write the entire project, as it is quite large.

Is there any way to do this? Or do we need to create a new project and import our existing sourcecode files?

Our solution is based upon VS 2008 with VSTO 2008 and we're targeting Outlook 2007 and later editions only.
(At some point we will need to write som addin code for Word/Excel as well, but that will be new projects).

Thanks in advance for any and all replies :-)

Regards
Christian

Sure. You just need to add an Add-in Express module to the project. Please see the 45th page of the Getting Started guide (adxvsto.pdf).

Please note that VSTO doesn't allow to develop multi-host add-ins.
