ADXCommandBar and PowerPoint
How to add advanced controls

When you look at Spy++ and PowerPoint 2003, you can see that the workpane on the left (used for things like Slide Layout, Getting started, Help, Clipart ...) is done by Microsoft using an MsoCommandBar named "Task Pane".

I'd like to know if the ADXCommandBar can acheive the same result ie can I create an ADXCommandBar, drag it around PowerPoint (or word/Excel too) and place inside that commandbar a form-like panel?

Currently, any non-button control added to an MsoCommandBar using the standard Microsoft COM API is not displayed if the commandbar is dragged and docked to the left or right panels.

Thanks

No. ADX doesn't support task panes. Try to use Visual Studio Tools for Office (VSTO) from Microsoft.
