Hi,

I developed an excel addin using Addin express and deployed it successfully on 32 bit machine. But when I tried deploying it on 64 bit machine, it is not shown in the Excel.

Does Addin Express support Vista 64 bit??

If yes, can you please suggest me some solution or is there some specific way to design addin for 64 bit machines?

Amit,

Add-in Express does support Vista 64-bit. Your project must be compiled for x86 and if you use regsvr32, you must run it from .\Windows\SysWOW64.

I am using your latest Add-In Express for Internet Explorer in a Vista 64 environment. It works fine for the 32-bit Internet Explorer which came with Vista 64. However, I can not get the setup Visual Studio setup project to build it for the 64-bit Internet Explorer which also comes with Vista 64.

I believe this is related to above note from Andrei.

QUESTION: Am I correct? And if I am, do you plan on releasing a version of Add-In Express For Internet Explorer that does support the x64 Internet Exploreer?

Hello Mark,

IE 64-bit isn't supported currently. We plan to support it in November.
