Unrecoverable Build Error
Visual Studio 2008 Unrecoverable Build Error

I have created an Add-In-Express project from scratch today and have it compiling and working in Outlook 2007 built with Visual Studio 2008 on Windows Vista.
When I try to build the setup kit project however, I get the following error:

Error 1 Unrecoverable build error {path to my project}OutlookAddInSetup.vdproj {MyProject}OutlookAddInSetup

Looking at the 'Detected Dependencies' I see a red circle 'no entry' icon next to AddinExpress.MSO.2005.tlb and VBE6EXT.OLB - both of which exist in the expected place on my C:\ drive.

Can you help please?

Hello Garry,

Please exclude any tlb or olb files from your setup package.

Hi Sergey,

Thanks for your reply.

These files are already excluded from the setup as that is what the red circle 'no entry' icon is in the 'Detected Dependencies' files.

Any other ideas?

Regards

G.

Hello Garry,

Could you please send us your project (or some demo project with the same behavior) for testing? We will try to find the reason of the problem and fix it.

Hi Dmitry

I can certainly zip the project up - to where do I send it?
This forum has no file attachment capability.

Garry

Hello Garry,

You can find our support email address in the readme.txt file located in the Add-in Express installation folder.
