Hi.
It maybe that I'm relay stupid, but when I read through all the topics here I see that you reference the outlook object as if it was built in.
I can't find it when using the ADX .NET 2.1 for VB .NET
Then I looked at the Toys sample, but could not compile that one.
figured that i needed a reference to the interop.outlook dll.
After adding the reference, my addin would not show up in outlook. If I added it manualy i got the message "Not a valid add-in"
I'm pretty stock in some very basic stuff.
All I relay want to do is to have an InspectorBar with a button that can set the subject of the new mail item. It shoul be fairly simple, but somehow i managed to make it nearly impossible on my machine.
Hope for som help guyz

Hi Lennart.
As far as I understand, you use the ADX 2.1 version. I would advice you to update your ADX up to the 2.2 Preview version on our web site. All our Toys and HOWTOs are supported the ADX 2.2 version.
Besides, I have just sent you an example with a new message window stuff.
This example requires the ADX 2.2 Preview version to be installed on your PC. |
