Hi,

I'm testing Visual studio 2008 and Adx 2008. I wanted to know if it's possible to add a new form region in an Adx project ?

Actually I've create a separate project of the Outlook 2007 type. My project was create in VS 2005 with adx 2007, but I've convert it to VS 2008 and adx 2008.

The way that form region works seems a little bit different in VS 2008, so it would be great to be able to directly create a new item of form region type in an adx project.

Thanks

Hi Fran?ois.

Add-in Express doesn't have the visual designer to create form regions in Outlook 2007. So, please use the Form Regions events of the ADXOutlookAppEvents component to add a custom region manually in the add-in code.

Thanks for your quick answer. Is it possible to you to supply me a sample of this. I have to replace the all design and some behaviour, maily I want to have more control on the message body to add some context menu, etc.

SO my form will be developp in VSTO 2008???, is it possible to add it manuallt afterward ?

Thanks again

Thanks you very much Sergey. As I'll have to give the answer if it's possible to add a replacement form built in VSTO 2008 in addin express I guess that having you developp a sample is a yes to that question.

Thank you very much !!

Fran?ois, probably I didn't understand you correctly.
If you meant Add-in Express Extensions for Outlook product, Add-in Express 2008 for .NET supports creating custom regions for Outlook in both VS 2005 and VS 2008.

Fran?ois, I am afraid the answer is no. The fact is that VSTO 3 designer for Form Regions doesn't produce .ofs files.
