I've just purchased this product, and created an Add-in using the ADX COM Add-in but the resulting Solution does not contain the Shim project. Have I missed something?

I'm not sure whether this makes a difference but I didn't have C++ installed when I first installed Add-in Express .NET, so I uninstalled it, installed C++ from the VS.NET 2003 E/A disc and then re-installed Add-in Express .NET.

Let me know if I need to do "something else" to get the Shim project.

I'm not sure. I downloaded from http://www.add-in-express/files/adx2net.msi.

From where do I download the latest Premium build?

I've just realised that the "Download Now" link for Version 2.1 build 1748 actually downloads a file called net-v22b1749.msi which looks like it might be Version 2.2 Preview build 1749.

Can you please confirm whether I have the right file?

It seems a fault of our webmaster. But the fact is that net-v22b1749 is the latest premium build and should correspond to "Add-in Express .NEt Version 2.2 Preview (build 1749)".

So I should use this one, in preference to the version 2.1 build 1748? I only ask because when I see the word "Preview" I read "Beta", and I'd rather not use a beta version...if you see what I mean.

In this case build 1748 is more beta than 1749. :-)

Build 1749 is the latest and very stable build where we show our customers what they can expect in version 2.2. We will be publish one more premium build before version 2.2 (will be published in February).

That is why now I suggest new customers to use build 1749.
