Obfuscation Outlook Addin via Dotfuscator

Hi!

I have developed an Outlook Addin using Addin Express and want to deploy the product with the auto generated installer project. That works fine.

Now I want to use the Dotfuscator Community Edition (comes with VS 2005) to obfuscate (at least parts) of the application. The application consists of several self written projects and a couple of 3rd party references.

Has anyone experiences with that?

Regards

Martin

Martin, as far as I know, the Dotfuscator Community Edition has very restricted functionality. I am not sure it will work with COM add-ins.

P.S. Note that we take up your forum requests in the order we receive them.
Besides, it may take us some time to investigate your issue. Please be sure we will let you know as soon as the best possible solution is found.

Martin, I didn't use any obfuscators yet. But you can choose a product which you like here:

I use XenoCode Postbuild 2007 and it works very well. Also, Xheo's CodeVeil is a great product.
