Hi there,
I've recently completed a few changes to a plugin for excel and have sucessfully updated to v2.8 ditching the Shim etc in favour of the loader.
Everything was working ok, i.e. builds ok, debugs ok etc - but then started getting a strange message when trying to use the Register ADX Project. Dialogue reads:
AddinExpress.Wizard
Unable to create proxy for the ADXPrimaryOutput class
Any thoughts? Oh the setup kit works fine and registers everything correctly, so it appears to be somthing to do with my development machine.

Tony, I have almost the same configuration but I can't reproduce the issue.
I will continue to investigate this issue and will let you know about results soon.
Could you please recall what software did you install before you got the error? |

Hi Sergey,
Have not installed anything new recently on this machine. Have tried complete uninstall / reinstall to no avail. Have done some further testing and this is happening for all 5 of the plug-ing we have developed.
All happens for new projects. Will upgrading the projects to Add-in Express 2007 resolve the issue? This is somthing I'm considering, so may bring it forward.

Tony, I am not sure about Add-in Express 2007 because the ADX wizard is the same. The problem is related to Visual Studio. Can I access your PC remotely? |
