Hi,

I am getting an error when trying to register an ADX addin on one of my development machines:

"Unable to create proxy for the ADXPrimaryOutput class."

What do i need to do?

Hi Martin.

Did you install any software or Windows updates before the error occurred?

Martin, do you have DevExpress components installed on your PC?
If so, please try to uninstall them and register the add-in again.
Please let me know about results.

I cannot re-register this addin without DevExpress components because they are used extensively in all of my addins. However, I will create a test addin just to find out.
I think it is noteworthy that i have another pc that has the same components installed that is registering ADX addins just fine.

I will report my results in an hour or so. If it doesnt work, i will send you credentials for remote access.

Martin, could you please uninstall the DevExpress components temporarily and test the add-in registration?

Hi Martin,

Sergey helped me with a similar issue yesterday. My problem was with the CodeRush from DevExpress. The update to CodeRush / DXCore 2.1.2 was causing the conflict for myself (note the previous version was ok).

Have since re-installed the old 2.0.4 version of CodeRush / DXCore and all is working ok.

Uninstalling CodeRush / DXCore has resolved the issue.
