If I create a new ADX add-in that shows a message when Word is launched, the add-in works fine on my local machine. If I distribute the add-in using the Setup deployment instructions then it will not install correctly on other machines. The install process completes successfully, but the message will not show up when Word is launched. If I use that same .msi on my local machine the install will complete fine and when Word is launched the message will show up. What am I doing wrong?

What version of Visual Studio .NET do you use?

Visual Studio 2005.

I was able to get around this problem by using the adxloader approach instead.
