Hello Andrei,

we have not been in contact for some time. My Excel AddIn is running well but is not updating automatically when I upload a new version. I looked through the forum and also through the documentation, but could not find the right description. Could you please point me to the right detailed description how to do that?

Do you use ClickTwice or ClickOnce?

sorry for the delayed answer, i was traveling.

When I publish I use "MSI based web deployment" I guess that is Click Twice?

I looked at the task manager and see that the updater is there, not sure why it is there now and was not there before.

Should it not also show on the Taskbar when I am in Excel? It does not show.

I will make a new version and see how it works. Please direct me to a document where I can follow a step by step guide to make a new version, including signing of the version_info.xml etc. but also what to change in he setup Deplayment Project.

I'm sorry for the delayed response; I suppose we had some unnoticed problem with getting emails from the forum.

I suggest that you check section Updating an Office extension via ClickTwice; see the PDF file in the folder {Add-in Express}\Docs on your development PC.
