Create simple toolbar.
- Just Word
- Only one control -- ComboBox -- values 1-6

Start one instance of Word performs fine
Start two instances of Word Values keep reseting to value of the word document I'm not working in. Make it impossible use two instance of the toolbar at once.

Thanks for your help,
Will Morgan

The example shows on how you can force Word to save values of combo boxes.

In my editable drop down list I'll have to save the value off as well.

I created the simple toolbar using just Office Interop and everything works fine.

Your solution works in the simple case, but does not resolve the problem in my main application.

I am already setting the toolbar to reflect properties on my activeX control and somewhere else the 2 DropDownLists and combobox get reset to whatever toolbar was created first. The buttons on my toolbar take the new settings so I know that I'm setting the state properly but, in some other code it changes the lists.

Hi Will.

This is not a known issue. Actually this is not necessarily that combo boxes should store its values. This work should be done by a developer.
My example shows a general approach. I know nothing about your application. So can you please send me the code that produce the issue? I will try to help.
