Hi,

I have latest version of Office with rounded panels and buttons as shown here :

I have used a default sample from add-in-express to ensure it's not a problem in my project.
See screenshot hereafter:

UseOfficeThemeForBackground is set to true.

In explorer Window, ADXOlForm is paint inside the explorer panel so it looks ok at first glance.

But in inspector window, ADXOlForm is paint outside any parent panel.
So in my mind, either ADXOlForm should be paint with rounded corners, or with the new background color.

Are you aware of this issue? Do you have any plan to adapt to the new look?

Thank you for pointing us to this omission. We we've started working on this but we will decide later in what way the fix (or is it a feature?) will be delivered to you. Most probably this will be a new version of Add-in Express (.NET, VCL and VSTO Regions). There are other variants that we will need to discuss. Whatever the way is decided, the work itself will take a while; there's no ETA set at the moment.

Thank you!

No, I don't have an ETA yet. We've completed the architecture phase and now we plan the development phase: it should be a new build of Add-in Express products. From my experience, all sorts of delay are possible so even if have an ETA I wouldn't rely on it.

No, I think not. We've finished code changes but we have a mixture of non-programmatic issues that includes several vacations and a new build server with a new certificate on it. I guess at least three more weeks.

Really sorry. Although we move ahead, there's no estimated time of arrival yet as delays are possible. Once I know the ETA, I'll post it here.
