Yesterday evening, I purchased the MSO .Net software, hoping to finish a very important work project by Monday. The website does say after purchase product delivery is instant. Upon trying to register the software, I received "Invalid License Key". Adding the the emailed key to my profile here, it kept showing awaiting registration confirmation. After being up all night, trying to hopefully create the project in Visual Studio without the help of Add-in-Express, I noticed this morning my profile shows successful product registration, yet when trying to install the software, I am still getting INVALID LICENSE KEY. Virus protection/firewall turned off, pasting code directly from email, typing code manually -- nothing works...and I am running out of time. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. -Shannon

Yes, I am trying to install the correct pkg
Yes, I am administrator
Yes, I have turned off virus/firewall protection
Yes, I have copied/pasted key from email
Yes, I have tried manually typing the key
Yes, I am trying to install from the Setup.exe run as administrator
No, I do not have any instances of devenv.exe running
No, Visual Studio is not running
No, I do not have any Add-In Express keys in my registry

My pc is Windows 10. Visual Basic is 2019 Community

Hello Shannon,

I?Â?Ð?éve found a case in our mail archives where a firewall prevented the installer from accessing https://www.add-in-express.com and this caused the ?Â?Ð?ìFailed: Invalid license key?Â?Ð?í message. So check if your firewall lets the installer access that web site.

I'm having the same issue on my new PC. It also doesn't work anymore on a virtual machine I had to use for a couple of weeks until my new pc arrived.

I can see with Fiddler that a request is being sent:

Also if the X-Powered-By header is correct, you are using a pretty ancient and therefor insecure version of PHP...

Please forgive me, Shannon,

I should have found this issue myself but missed that chance. I was looking in a different direction and, what's most unpleasant, even found something resembling this issue. If I had a slightest suspicion that the issue was caused by us, I'd raise the alarm yesterday. I've found this only today after Alexander pointed this out for me. So, I'm sure that I'm to be blamed.
