Hi ADX-Team,
I try to add your provided help-file to the MS Help Viewer 2.3. to get informations about the classes.

When adding the content, i get the error:

An error occurred indexing entry 'AccessingCOMAddinAnotherAddin.html'. Exception Message: For security reasons DTD is prohibited in this XML document. To enable DTD processing set the DtdProcessing property on XmlReaderSettings to Parse and pass the settings into XmlReader.Create method.


Other help files (C#, SQl etc) work fine, so it seems that ther's something wrong with the help-file. Reinstall did not solve the problem.

Win 10 Enterprise 1909, VS 2019

Any ideas?

Hello Erich,

I've reproduced the issue. At the moment I suppose that it relates to something external to help files themselves as I had several helps for our products that were enabled. After I uninstall some of them I cannot install them anew and this error is produced.

We will look for what might cause this.
