Hi Team,

In your add-in express documentation # What Excel UDF Type to Choose? you guys have mentioned that XLL add-ins are faster in financial and mathematical calculations. Do you have any metrics to support that fact? Or how would you compare the performance of these two types of UDF? I would like to know any kind of approach to do that.

Thanks

Hello Ashim,

No metrics. If you need performance, you should switch to native C++. Check performance-related comments to an old Add-in Express review at https://smurfonspreadsheets.wordpress.com/2010/11/17/add-in-express-review/.
