Issue typing in TaskPane on Windows 10 Update 1903

Our team noticed an issue after upgrading to the latest preview of Windows 10 Update 1903 ("April Update"). We are unable to type into any dropdowns that are in the Task Pane of the Outlook and Word Add-Ins.

I created a sample project with a basic textbox and combo box in a task pane window, and the issue persists.

Does anyone know when there will be a fix for this?

Thank you!

Hi Luis,

Please send your sample project to us for investigation. You can find our support email address in the readme.txt file located in the Add-in Express installation folder. Also, please specify which build of Add-in Express you use. Note, we will be able to test the issue only when Microsoft rolls out the final build of Update 1903.

Hello, Dmitry.

Thank you for your quick reply. I had already sent an email to that email address with the sample project on Friday, April 19, 2019.

The subject line was "Add-In Express: Issue on Windows 10 Update 1903". If you'd like, I can send it again.

Please advise. Thank you!

Hi Luis,

We have reproduced the issue. Hopefully it will be fixed in the upcoming Add-in Express build.

Dmitry, do you have an estimate of when the next build will be released?

Hello Luis,

Although technically we?Â?Ð?éve implemented support for VS 2019, we?Â?Ð?éve encountered issues with the latest build of Windows. The issues don?Â?Ð?ét relate to VS 2019. Still, we need to postpone the build: it won?Â?Ð?ét be published this week. Optimistically, we will publish it early next week.

I'll post a note here once the build is published.

Hello, Andrei & Dmitry.

Is there an update as to when the build will be published?

Thank you.
