I'm doing exactly what was suggested but when I try to send the item that I get with GetItemFromID I still get the error that I can't send an inline response. How can I do it after the inline response is really closed?

Hello Amiram,

Try to create a small delay using the machinery we describe in section Wait a little at https://www.add-in-express.com/docs/net-office-tips.php#wait-a-little. Grab the email and send it after the delay is over.
