Question about deployment

Hello, We have a customer that wants to require that any enabled addins are signed. We've signed the adxloader and our add-in dll is also signed. But in order to make it work in our test system, we need to install the certificate on the clients machine. Does anyone know how best to do this during deployment? Or must it be done manually?

Hello Erik,

As far as I know, it's the user who decides whether to trust your add-in or not. That is, you should install it, then - I expect - Office will show some UI. I think you will find some answers at https://support.office.com/en-us/article/add-remove-or-view-a-trusted-publisher-87b3d5a3-b68c-4023-87c4-7cc78a44d7ed.
