Using Ribbon Designer after recompiling Add-In Express DLLS

Hello,
I have recompiled the add-in express MSO2005 DLL to apply a fix you advised us with some time ago.
However, when i use that version in my solution i cannot open the ribbon design view.
It gives me a message box saying "Exception of type 'System.ComponentModel.Design.ExceptionCollection' was thrown".
Any suggestions how to make it work correctly again?

Hello Igor,

That's because the design-time code was built with the original AddinExpress.MSO.2005.DLL.

Igor,

There's no such procedure. You can try to build *all* Add-in Express code to the product's folder; additionally, you can copy the assemblies to GAC (using the COPY command in PostBuildEvent).

Please note that according to the EULA, we do not provide technical support for issues related to modifying the source code of the SOFTWARE, nor for modified source code.
