Hi,

I create an excel add-in, it works correctly in a lot of environment except my laptop. the scenario is ,

after i install the add-in, i can't see the ribbon. then i enable it in excel option->add ins. the add in can't display too.

if i restart the excel file, and go to excel option and click add ins tab, the excel crash.

Reinstall the excel add-in can't solve the issue.

the system environment is :

Win7 (32 bit) + Office 2007 (12.0.6661.5000)

Hello Joe,

Can you please reinstall the add-in, run Excel and send me copies of adxloader.log and adxregistrator.log from the folder {Documents}\Add-in Express in your profile on that PC? Please find the support email address in readme.txt. Make sure that your email contains a link to this topic.

Thank you for sending me the files. It looks like you install an XLL add-in, not a COM add-in. Can you please confirm this? If you install an Excel add-in , then you don't need to use the "/privileges=admin" switch in the custom actions. Instead, you need to use "/privileges=user".
