Namespace hierarchy not supported by adxOLFormsManager?
Custom explorers in hier. namespaces do not show for outlook folders

hi adx team

i found out, that explorers i define by creating a new ADX Outlook Folder Form do not show in outlook when the whole AddIn project is designed to have a hierachical namespace:

for example I trie to name my project "Casa.BackOffice.OLHost".
All objects were placed inside that namespace, the AddIn module itsedlf as well as the folder forms.

I assigned my test form to contact folders and it didn´t work.

I renamed the namespace to "CBO" in all modules and suddenly it worked.

Is that a known buggy? Or did i do something wrong ?

ps:
and by the way: the display labels of the property Cached in the ADXOlFormsCollection Editor says "...Forlder" instead of "...Folder" for all entries. you may want to fix that occasionally...? ;-)

Do you have the Shim project in your solution?

hi fedor,

there is no shim project in my solution nor was any created in any add-in solution i created with the adx tools automatically.

in fact i can´t find shims in your samples either and i don´t know anything at all about them.
where can i learn what they are and what i need them for?

i am working with vs2005 prof and office 2003.

Hi Ronald,

Whe have succesfully reproduced and fixed the namespace problem. It will be available in the next build that is planned on 29-May-2006. as for shims, you can read here:
