Hi

Continuing on from my post the other day about disabling other user created addins:

I have a CRM system that comes with a standard Outlook Toolbar called "Pivotal" and a Outlook Options page that I have just discovered called "Pivotal"
I have my own outlook add-in express that we use instead of this one.

Basically when the add-in express add-in loads I want to hide the standard "Pivotal" Options Page ?

Hi Matt.

Can you just disable the add-in that adds the 'Pivotal' option page?

Hi

I can disable the other add-in but the product re-enables it everytime you start it so it is not an option really. I was trying to disable/hide the Outlook Page dynamically when my ADX add-in loads.

Hi Matt.

Unfortunately Outlook Object Model doesn't provide any methods to disable/hide options pages. Did you try to remove the 'Pivotal' regisrty entries from the .\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins key?

Hi

Thanks, I do remove the registry keys for the Pivotal Add-in and that works untill the user then logs back into the client applications which recreates them. Oh well not to worry at least the toolbars are not visible.

Thanks
