Word addin felt in Disabled items

Hi,

one of our clients reported a problem with the ADX Word addin. It was working fine for a couple of months but suddenly the plugin has been moved to the Disabled items and we are unable to find a way how to make it active again. We have tried to reenable and reinstall the addin, but nothing helped. Here is the adxregistrator.log.

Hi David,

Please check out the http://www.add-in-express.com/docs/net-tips.php#disabled-items section in the online documentation. Also please take a look at the Trust Center settings your customer has set in the host application.

Hi David,

Have you ever tried to enable the plug-in in the Disbaled Items list instead?

The online documentation states the following:

In the Ribbon UI of Office 2007, you find that list on the Add-ins tab of the Office Menu | {host application} Options dialog. In the Ribbon UI of Office 2010, the Add-ins tab can be found in the File | Options dialog. After you get the Disabled Items dialog, you select the add-in and click Enable.

May I see a screenshot of the Disabled Items list from the problematic PC?

Many times, nothing happened.

The screenshots I attached in the previous post were taken on the problematic PC.

The screenshot you listed above shows the COM add-ins dialog (not Disabled Items). Could you please show me the Disabled Items dialog instead?

I thought the first attached dialog lists disabled items. If not, where can I find it in Office 2007?

Hi David,

Please take a look at the http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms268871.aspx article in MSDN. It looks like you have missed the following step:

In the Manage box, click Disabled Items, and then click Go.

Eugene, you are great! It works now.

This Microsoft Office UI is the most non-intuitive UI I have ever seen.
