Hi,
one of our customers reported that our addin's toolbar is not visible on his computer (MS Word 2003). On other computer with the same configuration (Office 2003 + Windows XP), it works fine. Do you have an idea what may cause the toolbar not to appear? Here are the logs.

Thank you for providing me with the log files. They look good; I didn't notice anything strange on my road.

How does your customer run Word? Did you notice the -Embedding command line switch?
Have you ever played with the Temporary property of your toolbar? Are you able to reproduce the issue with a newly created add-in project? |

He downloaded a document in IE and selected 'Open'. Now, he tried to save the document first and then open it by clicking the file in Windows Explorer. The -embedding switch was replaced by '/dde /n', but still the toolbar is not available. |

It looks like you forgot to answer my last questions. Have you ever played with the Temporary property of your toolbar? Are you able to reproduce the issue with a newly created add-in project? |

Hi Eugene,
I have never touched the Temporary property. I have also tried a new small addin which worked with no problems. Then I have tried to reinstall the addin and the problem has disappeared.
