I'm trying to find information on how to detect if Outlook or Word are running during installation of my add-in so I can suspend the installation until the user quits those programs. I'm using MSI with VS2003. If anyone can point me to some good resources for this I'd appreciate it.

Hi Joe.

Please set the DisplayAlers property of the addinmodule to true. In this case ADX will ask you about running instances of host applications.
