Hi,
A quick question:
using clickonce with reg-free do you still need to register the secman.dll?
In that case you still need Administration rights?

Hi Kristof,

No, you don't need to register it. The reg free stands for the registry free. Also you don't need the admin rights.

Strange :s I can't get it to work..
I followed your second tutorial on how to deploy with click once..
I added secman.dll and set the isolated value to true,
next i added the securityManager.2005 and set the copy local value to true,
Then I build my click once.
Add the secman.dll.deploy file to the clickonce.
Start my add-in and I get the following message:
"The 'secman.OutlookSecurityManager' COM object is not registered."

Thanks Kristof

Hi Kristof,

Did you try to publish a windows forms application as described in the http://www.add-in-express.com/creating-addins-blog/2010/06/04/outlook-deployment-clickonce/ article (not VSTO based add-in project)? Does it work for you?

Thanks for the quick response.

No i'm trying to deploy a VSTO. Do I need to do something different when deploying a clickonce for a vsto?

Thank Kristof
