Hi, one of my clients using the SecurityManager ActiveX control (version 10.0.1400) has reported Outlook has recently started prompting them for access. They are running Outlook Version 2309 Build 16827.20278.

Are you able to verify that the Security Manager ActiveX control still works on this version of Outlook?

Hi Andrei, thank you for that. That fixed the issue.

I see my subscription expires in a month or so. If it does expire does that mean the Security Manager control will stop working or does it mean I will loose access to the forums and any future fixes for newer versions of Outlook?

It means you'll loose access to the forum plus technical support; the latter includes future fixes.

Hi Andrei,

Could we have the updated version too please? We're seeing users generate OSMCheck (OOM) = osmUnknownOlVersion so we know that MS Outlook has "advanced" beyond the current bounds on what Outlook Security Manager can cope with.

Update: found out they're using

Current channel
October 09, 2023
Version 2310 (Build 16924.20042)

Though we have other users on the monthly channel etc. and it's been around a year since this add in was last updated - and seems to happen yearly-ish?
