I am trying to add an Advanced Toolbar to an existing project. When I do I receive the error "It is not allowable to add this item to a non Add-in Express based project". I have the right click menu items to register, unregister the addon. How can I do this?

Add-on Express: v8.1.5065.0
Visual Studio: 2012 (v11.0.51106.01U1)

Hi Ben,

Do you have the Loader subfolder in your project? Is it reproducible in a newly created IE add-on project?

Sorry for the late response. The Loader subfolder is there, and new projects work ok.

Hi Ben,

Please send the problematic project on the support e-mail. I will check it.
Also please send a screenshot with the 'New Item' wizard that you use to add the advanced bar.
