Hi,

We have installed add-in express in multiple machines for project related purpose and the same is insalled in different paths in the machine. So when one user creates a setup/MSI project, due the installation path discrepancy, the other person is not able to use the same setup project since the "adxregistrator.exe" and other related executables are installed in different locations. Please provide a solution to overcome this issue. Our main aim is to add the projects in source control so that everybody can use it eventhough the executables are installed in different locations.

Hi Anoop,

I would suggest installing Add-in Express to the same folder on each of your machines. You can choose some predefined folder (e.g. C:\Add-in Express\) during installation. Another solution is to copy adxregistrator.exe and other needed tools to a subfolder of your project and use it from that subfolder.

Hello Anoop,

Most of these files are mentioned in the Reference section of your add-in project. One more file - adxpatch.exe - is mentioned in the PostBuild event of your setup project. And don't forget about adxregistrator.exe.
